Does anyone have one of these installed on their 870? I see that wilson/scattergun sells these among other manufactors. Does it really make a difference? Are they a reliable/ useful part?

Yeah they work good, it's just easier to do quickly, especially with gloves on. The stock button is a little small.

Got mine a few weeks ago for a truck gun I have. I really like it. I wouldn't put it on a bird gun, but for HD it's great.

I use them on my personal Remington shotguns and feature them on my custom shotguns, I have installed well over 500 with out issue or complaint.

I recomend them on any 870, 1100 or 11-87

There shouldn't be any issues on an express. The trigger guard is plastic.

I have the Vang Comp version and it is great. I never used the safety on until I got it as it was not user friendly. With the Vang Comp big head safety it is very easy to use.

Youtube " remington 870 safety" great video for swapping out the safety button. Very easy to do.
