I just wanted to let everyone here know that Cold Steel stands behind their products. I bought my son a Cold Steel Recon Tanto folding knife in August. He is in the Marines and uses that knife regularly.
He loved the knife and put it to some pretty hard use. The point broke off while he was repairing a radio in a HumVee. He told me about that and I called Cold Steel. They advised me to send them the knife and they would evaluate it and let me know what they could do. My son came home for Christmas and we sent the knife to Cold Steel with an explaination of what happened to the knife. I recieved a new knife (same model) from them yesterday.
It sure is nice to do business with a company that stands behind their products. This is not my first Cold Steel purchase and won't be my last.

Very nice! Awesome to hear about a company going beyond what is really required. That's a company who really deserves a chance at my business.
