Like it says, I'm new to the CZ line of pistols. I've heard nothing but good things about them and have always had a gun from CZ on my want list.

As luck would have it my little gun shop got one in the very day I went there to get prices on one. It turned out to be love at first site and I slapped it in layaway with my stash of mad money and I'm just waiting for Uncle Sam to deliver my share to get it out.

I ended up with a CZ 75 BD, barely used if at all. I had originally gone down to find prices on the CZ 75 B SA (single-action) but felt this deal was too good to pass up. I'll have pics up when I get her home hopefully by this time next week. I'm actually more excited about getting this particular gun home than I have been with any other I've bought in a long time.

What holsters do you recommend? I haven't found that many out there specifically for CZ75 models.

High Noon for a wide variety of CZ specific holsters.

Mention me when you ask about 75 holsters to Michael.

Enjoy that 75BD. Turkey, Israel, Brazil and other police forces use them
daily!

Oh, THANKS for Thinking CZ!

What are you using the holster for? That's really the question. If it's for competition, then there are some good Kydex ones out there, like from Blade Tech.

Welcome to the world of CZ. Just as an FYI, I've converted my SP-01 over the SAO. You just can't get the SA/DA trigger to be as precise. You're 75 can be readily converted, also.

Primarily for competition, IDPA to be exact. I've found a few out there that I like and I'll take any suggestions or recommendations for any!

I may eventually look into doing a SAO conversion or if I really love the way the gun shoots, I'll pick up a single-action model to complement my new one.

Perfect. Buy direct from Angus - Blade Tech DOH:

He'll take care of you.

Just brought her home last night; I'll have pics up by this evening. Cannot wait to shoot it; if it shoots have as good as I expect I'll have another CZ on the way.

I'm really looking at the CZ 75 B SA as my next possible gun, using it in IDPA ESP class since Hi Powers and 1911 in 9mm are nearly twice the price as that CZ. Anyone here shoot a single-action CZ?

I converted my SP-01 to SAO and I did a full action job to it. Trigger is about 1.25 lbs. Shoots like a dream. Now that said, if you want to get a great CZ-style semi-auto with SAO at a fantastic price, look at a Witness Match in 9mm.

These guns are tack drivers.

Yep, it's the one on the lower left.

Although I like them all, the CZ75 B SA is my favorite. Regular CZ75's (not decocker models) are for all practical purposes SA pistols anyway. Having one with a real SA trigger is the way to go in my opinion. Note how the CZ75 B SA also has a larger frame beaver tail and heavier slide on the front end. Both help the accuracy and follow up shots. Of course, due to the weight, it wouldn't make a good carry gun. The only thing that I don't like about it are the sights. They're pretty poor for a target gun in my opinion. My ideal CZ75 would be a 9mm compact with a SA trigger and aluminum frame. Unfortunately, they don't make it.

Just get a P-01, an SA trigger and convert it. It really isn't that hard. Did that with my SP-01 and will never look back...

I agree on the sights. I put an FO on the front of my SP-01. That's why I recommend the Witness Match (or "Stock"), they come with fully loaded with all the options and are a better value for the $$.

The P-01 front muzzle end is significantly more bulky than that of the Compact.

Congrats on the CZ 75!

I've got one as well and love it.

I've also got a CZ 75 Champion on the way. :)

Great choice in CZ..I think the fever for these fine pistols is growing more and more. I hope you check out the CZ Forum as well. A lot of great info there.

My CZ is one of my favorites to shoot. Very very accurate.

Can the CZ 75 BD be converted to a 75B configuration?
