I'm looking for a small 22, something to kep in my glove compt. "just to have" in case I hit a deer or elephant............, and to plink with, MAYBE carry on a hot sumer day.........
P22 seems "iffy", chances of getting a good one are slim, but it does happen....
Don't know about Bersa's, Berettas.....don't want to spend over $300-325, and would rather NOT get anything than buy a POS.
Any recommendations??
Thanks..

I would save more and get something of quality, I learn the hard way.

If you want really compact check out the North American Arms mini revolvers.

A few years back I had a 2" 9 Shot Taurus Model 94 Stainless-Steel Double Action Revolver. I used that revolver way more than I thought I would. I carried it in an Ankle Holster for a back up gun most of the time, but did shoot some unwanted critters with it also. A lady friend of mine decided she really liked that revolver and I ended up selling it to her. Been trying to buy it back ever since without any luck.

Ruger Bearcat or Single Six with 4 5/8" barrel.
If going to be left in the car, preferably a stainless steel model.
The Bersa (Firestorm ~ same gun) .22s are quite good, in my experience.

Thanks for your replies.
I bought a tarus p22, as I wanted something really small, but not as small as those North AA mini's.
Reviews are all over the map on this gun, so I'll see what $229 bought me.
I may check out the BERSA too if I can find one.
I'll try to remember to post results after I put a few hundred rounds thru it.
