My ammo stash is growing and I need a way to make sure it stays in good shape. I have ammo cans but will the vacuum seals help more? Thanks for you input.

Aren't ammo cans watertight as well as airtight?

I have vaccuum sealed rifles and handguns as a way to make sure they stay dry during shipment. It should also insure less chance of rust.

Just store the ammunition in a dry place (So pretty much a room in your home). Ammunition is very durable and generally won't go bad unless it's exposed to moisture. Even with exposure to moisture ammunition will often keep indefinably. If you have ammo cans those are perfectly fine. You'll honestly gain nothing worth the time vacuum sealing your stash.
