Monarch 223?

Being new to the AR-15 what does every one think about the MONARCH .223 steel cased ammo? Here where I live it goes for about $5.99 per 20 round box.
what will steel cased ammo due to a AR-15?

While many have no issues, I think steel cased ammo is really for Eastern European firearms.

I'm not a fan of steel cased ammo.

Yes brass is more money but I feel better about it.

YMMV, Try it if your AR likes steel cased ammo go ahead and use it. I feel it will be harder on the extractor and chamber

I shot 100rds of Monarch through my brand new BCM mid length yesterday. I also fired 16rds of Winchester silvertips. Not a single jam, and I got about 0.5-1.0" groups at 50yds for my initial sight in.

Its cheap, it cycles just fine, and its accurate enough for SHTF work. That's good enough for me!
