http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e186/knuckleball6268/FDEBCM.jpg
Just got the upper in last night. Its a 16'' BCM middy with midlength gas system. DD Omega 9 rail. XTM rail panels in FDE/Magpul low profile rail covers in FDE etc. etc.
Still waiting on my MBUS and a spacer for the red dot.

Looks like the upper has a good new home....I like AR's that have some color on them (I dig OD green).
But yeah....get some better pics up

Very nice rig.
BCM middy's are A+.
Not a perfect pic, but
it get's the job done.
Nice looking rifle, and color
options. I'm sure you will
enjoy it and she will serve
you well. Thanks for showing.

How you get that dot sight to work that low? Seems like you'd need a riser for it. Cool bang-stick, though.

Good catch, I just noticed he didn't have a riser. I know when I put a Red Dot on my AR, the dot was in the middle of the front sight tower. I ended up having to get a riser for it.:dunno:

Sorry, I meant riser....not spacer, and its in the mail. I just mounted it to get an idea of what it would look like, the front site is in the way. Thanks for the comments.:wavey:

What kind of Red Dot do you have?
I took the carry handle off of my 9mm AR and put it on my 5.56 AR and put a Red Dot on the 9mm but it was a cheap one so I took it back off.
As I can afford it, I want to buy a Aim Point for the 5.56 AR and I'll switch it back again. My main concern is that the 5.56 has sights for now.:faint:

Its a Simmons red dot. Will do fine for range work. I was going to put a scope on it, but none of my ranges here go past 100 yards.:dunno:

I am sure the Simmons Red Dot will be fine. I bought a BSA from Walmart and got what I paid for. I just had to try it.
I want to get a Burris scope for my 20” AR15 and one for my AR10. My friend has a Burris scope and he has never had a problem with it yet.

Cool, I actually decided to go with a Tru-Glo red dot I have, the simmons, I am giving to a friend of mine along with the AR I sold him. I was playing with them earlier and decided I liked the recticle on the Tru-glo better than the dot by itself on the Simmons.:dunno: IF this thing dies, I'll buy a half decent variable power scope for it.

Here is a pic of mine. It's a basic rifle. It's a RRA 16" Mid-Length.

Thank you. I keep my rifles like me, very simple.
I kept the factory hand guards on all my AR’s but I did mount a piece of picatinny rail to all of them on the right side of the of the hand guards so that I could add a light to them. On all of my 20” AR’s I also added a Harris Bipod adapters. On all of my 16” and 20” AR’s I also added a Receiver Plate that has the eyelet for a HK snap hook for slings. I like to easily unhook it and loop up when I shoot. I am a simple man but I do like options. :whistling:
Went to the range today :)
