View Full Version : Does anyone else have this PM40 slide?
A buddy (Mketron) over at Steyrclub.com showed some pictures of his Kahr PM40. It's a Black Diamond PM4044. I have never seen one with a tapered muzzle like his though. Does anyone else have the same muzzle on their PM series? To me it looks like a short CW slide. Is this a specific model only as I can't seem to find a picture of one on Kahr's website.
I totally dig the melted look.
And now you have me searching... what did your friend say about it?
I saw those too Dan but that's a P40 not a PM40. I'm wondering when they changed the PM slide or if its special order.
I just purchased that gun (PM40 in black diamond). I don't believe it to be a special order. I detail stripped and cleaned it last night. The metal fit and finish on the metal was very good. I was very pleased with the metal componets. The plastic was not cleaned up as well at the factory. Several areas of overmold or fringe. It was easy to take care of but I was a little disappointed that it wasn't cleaned up at the factory, especially for a gun at that price point. I hope to get to the range on Saturday for the 200 rd break in.
my pm40 is stainless and has the tapered slide at the muzzle
Looks identical to my PM40 which is about a month and a half old now.
Pic posted in the "Kahr Porn Please" thread, last page.
Yeah, I've now seen new ones that are not beveled and 16mo old ones that are. Seems Random.
