Hi all, it's been a while.

Thought I'd update the X ring about my latest M20. (my first was a UK serial prefix manufactured 3/91)

While I liked the feel of the SF, I realized the right side bottom trigger guard was preventing me from acquiring the grip I want on the frame.

10 minutes with a 1/2" 120 grit sanding wheel at 5k was all it took to cut an angled relief matching my bird finger's natural lay when using as high a grip as possible. WHAT a difference!

Whereas the SF felt better, the feel now seems far improved. Not that much material was removed, in fact, from the left side the trigger guard looks stock.

Don't know if this has been discussed much, but I did want other single centimeter Glockers to know how much I perceived it improved the feel- this from a guy cut his 10mm teeth shooting a 2nd gen M20.

X,

PS- any thoughts on the LWD stock length M20 slides as of late?

TIA

Where are the pictures? That is the same spot that is bothering me on my 29, I would like to see how it turned out.

I did the same thing on my OD Glock20. I used a piece if 1/2 inch dowel wrapped with sandpaper. I started with the dreaded Dremmel and found that even on the slowest setting I was gettin' some melting of the frame.

Youz guyz that attempt this be forewarned that it will void any warranties. Also be careful not to undercut the trigger guard too much. If so you will inadvertently engage the mag release with your "give 'em the finger",finger.

Other than that mine came out the way I wanted it to. I really like the way my hand naturally takes a higher grip. With the web of my hand higher(closer to the bore line) the perceived recoil is somewhat lessened.

I've always done that to my Glocks. I get a blister on my middle finger otherwise.

I think that looks pretty good! Always like to hear of someone who takes the dremel to a new gun! On my rifles I get the dremel out and bed it before I do anything.

Good cure for "Glock Knuckle", I'd say:whistling:

I did mine square with the bottom of the trigger guard. And all the way accross. Looks like I undercut more than the above pic also. Feels mo bedda.

Man ! You kids and your dremel tools on new guns.... :wow:
A dremel tool to a gun is what a rattler is to your leg.

Play safe guys.
