MEU(SOC) inspired...still need a 3 hole trigger, pachmayer grips, and probably a flat mainspring housing...fitted S&A beavertail, ed brown tactical safety...put in the berry hill ring hammer/ultimate ignition set...ran about 40 rds through it and everything seems to function as it should...

looking good man! I love the ring hammer. If it was mine, I would get the flat MSH, match medium trigger and 10-8 NM rear sight. but thats just me. good job!

Why the three-hole trigger? The MEU(SOC) I had didn't have it. In fact, I don't recall seeing any of the issued ones with a three-hole trigger.

Looks good. Let us see it when you're done. I bet it turns out nice.

OK. I have seen the pics from gunsmiths with that trigger, but the one I had shot I was a corpsman didn't have it, that's why I was asking.

I have the same gun. So far I changed to a long trigger and a flat mainspring housing. The trigger was a learning experience and in the future I might buy a better quality part. I'm dryfiring (with an O-ring) the heck out of it and it's getting smoother.

These sure are fun guns to own!
