Now everyone who has ever cared to learn anything about the process in legally converting various firarms from semi to full auto, has heard of the mysterious file the sear gun. I've read countless conversion manuals, and studied countless other functioning schematics for everthing from legally beefing up an AR-15 into a GI M-16, to step by step converting an HK94 into an MP-5(per say). Never have I seen ANY gun that by a simple filing of any sear would render the firearm full auto.

So what is this mystery gun?

Early Mac 10, maybe?

Couldnt be a Tec-9, seeing as how the bolt is the major contributor to it's automatic cycling. Anyone know?

I believe this was worded in a manner that no one will feel that anything they say could be construed as information that could be used against them by any LEA.
So feel free to speak freely. Remember that we are indeed FREE, supposively.

ATF used to allow open bolt semi-auto guns, which could be easily converted to full auto, usually by messing with the sear or disconnector.

AR type rifles can be made to slam fire multiple rounds (usually just 2) by messing with the disconnector, but this creates a very hazardous condition with the potential to fire out of battery.

Allsemi-auto guns can be made into full autos with the right machine tools, but it is more involved than filing down a sear. Heck, the first machine gun was made from a lever action rifle.

Glocks are relatively easy to make go full auto. Much easier than many semi-auto rifles.
