I can not remember which items need paperwork to temporarily move out of state and which items do not.

How much time should I expect turn around to be?

What form?

Cans/sbr/sbs/mgs. AOWs dont need it.

I would give several months Minimum notice.

Not required for silencers either. I usually file for them anyway while sending in the forms for my other stuff.

They usually come back within 2 to 6 weeks but I've had them take over 6 months on two different occasions (one of them was for silencers, so I brought my stuff anyway :cool:)

ATF will approve for up to a 1-year duration.
