I'm going to give the heat method a try for a DIY grip reduction on my G26. Hopefully I'll get to it tonight. I figure a candle and some time is about as easy as it gets. Just looking for some pics of a grip reduction done on a G26/27 to give me some inspiration. Thanks again.

if you want pics of reducing the grip using the candle method i suggest you contact Bowtie on here. if you want nice pics by a pro then www.coldborecustom.com i'm gonna have him do my 26.

dude your 26 looks good. better than some of the pics on other companies websites doing grip reductions. some others look like it tapers towards the bottom? the pics of your 26 is why i chose to go with coldbore. i just have really small hands, i'm 5'5". so that hump is bothersome to me. i just sent him another email saying i want mine done like yours and taking some material under the trigger guard off.

Well I didn't get to it last night...too much snow to blow.

Thanks for the pics. That is some sweet work on your 26, scprotector1. I'm going to do the work myself, hopefully it comes out about as nice as yours. I also have a grip sleeve for G19 mags and I am planning to reduce it as well. I'll let you know how it goes.
