I hope this is the appropriate place to post. It relates to Gunsmithing in that it prevents costly refinishing.
Anyone every use Strike Hold? I have an aerosol can from a gun show. I had serious corrosion problems with my 1911 until I applied this. The corrosion was one thing that drove me to Glock, never have to worry about it. I was about to give up on the beloved .45 when I found this stuff. It stopped corrosion dead in its tracks. I had never heard of it until a friend gave me a can. I use it on all my guns now. Water beads on it like wax.
Just wanted to pass along the helpful info and see if anyone else has had these great results.

After I've cleaned my Glock I spray the insides with Strike Hold. For the higher stress points I use Weapon Shield. I've used Strike Hold for 6-7 years with very good luck, but I wouldn't use it for things like the rails, connector, etc.
