... earlier today. Bought a G20 that I had been eying for a few weeks.

Being stuck in CA, I "get" to wait 240 hours to pick it up. Ughhh...


Anyway, after buying the gun I bought a LWD 10/357SIG conversion barrel and some other bits from Lone Wolf Dist. Is there anything I need to know about that setup? I have 0 10mm but lots of 357Sig on hand.

Load 'er up and go, or... ???

Yes, soon I will be adding a 10/40 conversion barrel also.

Don't forget the 9x25Dillon conversion barrel. I don't have the 357sig, nor the 40 barrel yet, but I do have the LW 9x25, Barsto STD 10mm, and a LW 6in 10mm barrels. You may need to get different magazines to shoot the 357sig. I do know if they will work in your 10mm mags. Check the "General Glocking" forum.

The 357SIG is the 40S&W case necked down. Since the the 40S&W is nothing more than a shortened 10mm, I don't think there will be any problems with the 10mm mags. I'm thinking of getting a 357SIG barrel for my G20.

Per LW, the 10mm mags work fine for .40 and 357Sig so I have no worries about that at this time.

She's (G33) got more 10mm than most people around. The 10mm, .357 SIG, .40 S&W, 9x25 all use the same mag.
.357 SIG = necked down .40, and 9x25 = necked down 10mm. All are the same cartridge diameters.

I'm not in the slightest worried about the mags in the gun, I am aware the 10mm, .40, and .357Sig interchange with no issue.

I intended the point of this thread to be aimed at the 10mm-to-357Sig conversion barrel I recently ordered from Lone Wolf. Is there anything I need to know about using a conversion barrel? Any exciting issues or pitfalls to watch out for??

I also want to build a .45ACP upper for the G20 frame... but that is for another thread :).
