WASR-10 Question

Hello all,

I have had a Century Arms WASR-10 for a number of years. Since purchasing it, I have added a complete OD green Tapco Intrafuse stock system on the rifle. My question for you folks is this...

The rifle did not come with a bayonet lug. How possible is it for me to install a bayonet lug incase I want to add the bayonet later? This is something I feel strongly about doing, and I hope someone here can help on the issue! If anyone knows of anyway this is possible, please let me know.

The rifle is pictured as is, sorry to all the AK Traditionalists.

Pretty sure the only way would be to replace the gas block with one that hasn't had the bayo lugs ground off.

I replaced the gas block on a SAR-1 that I own. If found that some bayos work and some don't. Don't know why yet.

If you look at the barrel of the rifle, just above the release button on the handle of the bayo, you will see a lighter strip of metal. That's because the replacement gas block was not the same length as the original gas block even though it was for Romanian rifles. However, the rifle cycles and functions just fine.
