Thanks, I believe it was pure luck!.... 5.56/.223 is the smallest rifle round you can use in South Dakota for hunting. That was my last time hunting in SD, I'm sure gonna miss it

I have an M&P 15T, it's sitting next to me on the couch (I'm a dork) and I love it. It's got an Eotech 552, Tango Down VFG, Surefire weapon light w/pressure pad (fits in the VFG) replacement grip with battery storage, and I painted it to match the M4 in MW2 (video game.)

Yes, I'm an M4gery dork!!!

I had an M&P15T for about a month....I ended up selling it to appease my wife :steamed:. I should have kept it.

I picked up one a couple of months ago. I've been very pleased with my M&P. Dead accurate right out of the box, wonderful finish, and great balance.

I already have a standard M&P15 and have been very happy with it. This afternoon while visiting my favorite gun store they just got a new M&P15PS Piston System carbine. The more I looked at it I became intrigued. I've never had a problem with a DI AR but with all the hoopla over these new gas piston ARs I am curious. I just may go back tomorrow and buy it. S&W has really jumped on the AR bandwagon in a big way, and I'm impressed with their quality.

i was thinking the same thing. I like my M&P15T and was looking at the PS.
i might pick up a PS this weekend or a VTAC if they still have it.

The M&P is a great rifle......despite the problems on the front side of the first production run of weapons. Top quality parts, very well made. I say that having experience with several of them.

I've set up mine with Magpul CTR, MIAD, enhanced trigger guard and MBUS. I have also added a KAC M4 RAS and VFG. Optics yet to come toss up between the Eotech XPS2-0 or 512. I've had and been issued Aimpoints....not fond of RD sights though the Aimpoints are good ones.

Love my M&P.........and that comes after owning Colt, Bushmaster, RRA and having been issued FN and COLT by Uncle Sam.
