View Full Version : Anyone know where to find ACTUAL Mil-spec sheet?
It's for a little research project I'm doing. I'd like to find actual military specification sheets for various generation of 1911, 1911a1, MEUSOC M1911, etc.
Not gun rag regurgitations or synopses of the specs. Anyone know where I can find these?
I have the MEUSOC specs at work on a jump drive. I'll try to remember to shoot it to you Monday. There are a few places on the web that should yield this info.
how about the Kuhnhausen Books?
Maybe this will help,..............
Thanks for the help, but I'm looking for the actual mil-spec doc, not lay audience write-ups or synopses.
something like this, but for the various iterations of 1911
MIL-M-63356A, MILITARY SPECIFICATION, MACHINE GUN, 7.62MM: M240C (21 APR 1981)
it was under fed specs and not mil specs, missed it the first time around
One of the challenges you will find with a MEU(SOC) 1911 is that many of the parts are different...in one you'll have a Wilson widget, in another you'll find the same widget made by King. I have heard that they have tried to tighten the variability for uniformity's sake.
