Anyone have a line on some 9mm in the Raleigh area? I prefer WWB in 115gr but I have checked all 4 Wal*Marts around me and they never seem to have any. I would like to buy 10 boxes minimum.

The new Walmart in Apex had little interest in selling me 9mm ammo when I tried to buy some. I finally gave up, and found some good deals at

Thanks for the link. I just ordered a case of PMC 115gr. I haven't shot PMC in a while. Hope it's OK.

It has been hit or miss at the Wal-mart in Wake Forest. The last time I saw it there they probably had 100 boxes. It took up almost their whole case.

I've also seen 9mm at all the local shops and ranges I've been to lately. Course it costs more than Wal-mart but after you pay shipping it may be about the same price as ordering online.

Walmat in east side of Zebulon

have not see WWB in 9 mm in a long time. Federal 9 mm 50 per box.

and 10 box or 1000 rounds will be several stops. 6 boxes per store purchase

or Perry's Gun shop in Wendell

Fwiw Ammunition To Go (http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/catalog1/index.php/cName/9mm-fmj-ammo) has WWB. I have an order in with them for 9mm right now and prices seem pretty good.

Looks like Palmetto State Armory is out of most 9mm and .45 ACP that I saw. I ordered a case of Blaser 9mm from them a few months ago. It was a flawless transaction with a good price and speedy shipping. Big thumbs up to some Carolina folks!

No 9mm of any sort at the a few WalMarts down in Columbia, SC. Clerks there say they have been getting in small shipments from time to time but he never knows what's coming in or when.

Have you tried Dick's Sporting Goods @ Crossroads Mall?

Quite Right. I went to the one in Apex (Beaver Creek) when Wallyworld didn't care, and they were very friendly. They had 9mm available, for a couple more bucks a box that I could get mail order, but I did make a mental note in case I was ever running low.

I make a Wally / Dick's run every few months.

Start at Wally world in WF, then Louisberg, then Zebulon, then Dicks in Knightdale, Wally world in Knightdale, then Dicks at Triangle Town center.
Take several 100 in cash with me. Between those places I can pick up 1000 or so rounds.

Walmart in Garner had plenty of 9mm on Monday.

To get ammo at WalMart you have to go every morning at 6am  to see if they have any; sometimes you need to look for it in the boxes on the floor behind the sportin' goods counter. in Aiken they won't sell it 'till 7am, so if they got it you have to go then.

I haven't had any problems buying 9mm and .45 WWB in the Lexington area Wal-Marts ... you just have to get there before 0730 but they have it. Also several of them always have plenty Federal .40 and bricks of .22's

Every wall mart is different. The few that I visit tell my they put the ammo on the shelves when they have time.

More important things to do when their shifts start, like clean.

Ask the sporting goods ppl / manger when they stock? most mentioned between 9 and 10 am.
