My CW9 is ready for duty [Archive]

I had to send my CW9 back to Kahr for a number of problems. I received it a few weeks ago and finally got a chance to shoot it today. It fed 265 rounds of every type 9mm I had with no problems. I'm going to put one more range trip on it, then it goes into CCW duty. I put the sandpaper to the backstrap too. Those nubs need to come down some.

I also had them put a set of Trijicons on it.

I am pleased with Kahr's customer service. :cool:

How'd they do the front sight since one of the "cheapening" things of the CW series is to pin vice dovetail it into the slide?

The CW series night sights are metal and have two posts like the standard plastic sight. The post nearest the rear of the pistol is threaded; the sight attaches with Loctite and a screw into this post.

Congrats on the CW9 being up and running.
I'm about convinced I've all the bugs worked out of my CW45 so that it can can do some CCW duty.

I want to get one more range session on it. Another 200 rounds at least, then I'll have a warm fuzzy about it. It worked great last time though. :cool:

Try the Hogue Handall Jr. grips. They slip on, don't move and really make the gun feel good in your hand.
