I'm looking for but can't find any low capacity magazines for the 5.45x39.

I'd like to find a source for mags before I buy a Saiga in 5.45 (since ammo is very cheap). I have not been able to find an magazines smaller than 30 rounds.

Here's a good guide for making them if you have to. I know the post is abt 7.62x39 mags, but may help as a reference...

You have to log in to see the thread. Also, I don't really have an option of making my own. I'm in NJ with a 15 round limit.

K-VAR has a magazine listed in low-capo on their website but it's out of stock in that caliber.

What's CAI?

I can't shorten any magazines, because in NJ, you can't be in posession of mags with a capacity over 15 rounds.

Century Arms International.

In New Jersey, off duty police officers are not allowed to carry hollowpoints. Move.

I'm assuming you mean off duty out of state officers.

I'm not going to move because I can't own magazines with a capacity of over 15 rounds.

Here's some 15rd mags for sale. they look like 20rd Hungarian Tanker mags that have ben cut down/modified to 15rds. Several of them seem to be dented a little. Since you cant login to theakforum.net, here's the ad:

My e-mail address is micahjohnson92@aol.com Shipping is not included in these prices. I ship using USPS unless another service is specifically requested. Please feel free to ask questions. I have 100% positive feedback on Gunbroker and AK-47.net under the user name big_johnson_92. I will accept Paypal with a 4% fee, but I prefer USPS money orders. I will consider trades, but mostly for AK magazines, parts and accessories.

Magazines:

5 Custom made 15rd Steel Magazines, good working condition, $19 for the top four, $15 for the bottom one that has a modified follower:
