View Full Version : Another wonderful thing about the Gap...
I never even imagined how great it would be to carry this gun the G39... 6+1 45 gap same size as the g26 (tiny bit thicker slide) and after carrying it for a month now I realize after carrying a glock 30 for a bit that even the backup ammo is smaller .. the 10 round G37 mags are the same size and use the same loader and base plate as my G19 9mm Mags so they are super easier to carry than those huge chunky 45acp mags for the g30... the 45 gap bullets are shorter and feel lighter also. Maybe it is just me but is the 45 gap perfect for everything or what... ill get a g38 at the end of this year and Ill carry both with me as ccw ..i love the shorter 45 gap and i feel just a "snug as a bug in a rug" & "confortable" knowing i still have that 45 size bullet to send at the bad guy in a shorter but very powerful package.
I've been thinking about the G39 a lot but so far I've been pretty comfortable CC'ing my G38. I have a G26 with Crimson Trace laserguard on it that was my daily carry. I would love to have that laser on my G38 or a G39 but finding a daily carry holster with that combination would be nearly impossible. :crying:
I agree with you totally, I sold my other handguns after I bought my 39 because they just collected dust.
My G39 performs the BUG role perfectly for me in the winter time while my Kobra Carry rides IWB.
My Glock 39 has replaced my Glock 30 for daily carry.
When I walk around my house, It feels real comfortable IWB... just starting to get used it.
