40 cal silencers are not in much demand. AAC makes the Evolution 40 and Yankee Hill makes the Cobra in 40. Since you want that caliber you won't have to do a lot of market research.

that round does not suppress well, high pressure. 9mm works much better. at least most of the 180 grain loads (40)are sub-sonic though,,, I had a AAC EVO .40 can and it was disappointing to say the least

No I said that your choices are down to a couple of products, so not much research needs to be done on your part. Pick item 1 or item 2 and have your dealer order it.

http://www.gem-tech.com/BLACKSIDE.html For a third option.

The 40 has interested me in buying a can for because of the 180 grain loads. About 950 fps out of the barrel sounds great for suppression, but then again, I do not even know of anyone with this can, so I can not say for sure.

Then again, you could just buy a 45 can and shoot 40 through it like a lot of people use a 308 can for 223.

I've never fired a .40 can. But If I were you, I would look at a 9mm barrel conversion for the glock, and go with a 9mm can. Ammo is cheaper, easier to suppress, and more options.

If you end up buying the gemtech, swr, or aac .40 can let us know how it works :))
