Does anyone know a reputable online company that sells either amber-yellow or clear-lenses shooting glasses that are designed to wear over prescription eyeglasses? I've googled the subject, but I'm not familiar with any of the companies that offer said products. I would like a personal recommendation from someone on the GT forum, if possible.--Patrice
I'll check tommorow to see what brands they sell at the PX, if that helps. I don't have a set anymore, and don't remember what brand I had.

Well, Rick...I hope someone chimes in with an answer for you; I've withdrawn my query. Apparently you & eye are the only folks that could use such a product. I'll try posing the question on the other side of the fence; just have to figure out which sub-forum.--Patrice
You and eye...clever.
Patrice, I don't wear glasses yet, but I'll keep my eyes open next weekend.

There are many styles
You can get ESS shooting glasses that have prescription inserts.
I have them but most of the time just use my prescription glasses.
When We got ours I went to Google Shopping checked for lowest price
I don't remember where it was.
Ours came with a case, 3 lenses,2 nose pieces (1 regular 1 for rx inserts),
and the rx insert frame.

PATRICE and rboatright, I finally got a chance to look in the PX and see that they sell the most of. ESS and Desert Locust are the popular brands aroung here. Both take prescription inserts but neither has room for most styles of glasses. I've seen them used sometiles with small-frames glasses, but that's not what they were designed for.
Hope this helps.

THOSE are very cool.
Thanks. For $20 I'll try them, it's not bad even if they suck.
My everyday glasses are polycarb but they don't offer full protection and a hot 9mm between the glasses and the eyeball would ouchy...

These appear to be identical to the NRA glasses except they don't offer a clear pair.

The USACAV glasses don't work over any pair of prescription glasses I have ever had.
I -have- looked at shooting glasses with prescription inserts, but $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Well, I admit that REDUCES but does not eliminate the target area.
