What would ya'll recommend for a decent cheap multi-tool? preferably with a good knife and pliers those are my main concern, but would like to have scissors and a screwdriver as well.
Thanks

Leatherman Wave
Gerber 600 is what I prefer over the Leatherman, and I have both.

leatherman wave is where its at...i have 2 or 3 of them maybe 4 im not sure any more...i carry it every where and every day...i ended up with so many from haveing to buy the 2nd one to send the original back for free repairs because a file is not a pry bar. and then id buy one because id forget it at home and need one or it was on sale.

Leatherman Wave is the best I have seen or used. I have one with me or nearby all the time.
Gerber is horrible for multi-tools. I'm not liking they're knives period today.
Leatherman all the way. I prefer the wave aswell.

I carry a gerber diesel. I really like it and the knife is really sharp.

Loving my SOG, but not sure what cheap is to you, so....
Check out http://www.steepandcheap.com, They have multi-tools on all the time. Yesterday they had a SOG one at 64% off.
i love my leatherman wave.
I have the basic Gerber, it does what I need, but I honestly don't use it much, there is a tool bag in each vehicle and a roll away in the garage.

Victorinox Sith Army Knife.
I saw that the local Target store had a gerber ripstop multitool for $30 that seemed good. I have not handled one yet but will pick one up soon.
