I recently purchased a similar gun and found out that there are two versions, one with sling attachments and one without. Mine was without and, of course, the lower price.

Not to hijack, but staying on topic. What about the Remington tactical model with Knoxx stock, model 81400. Local dealer has it for $520. Good?

Now if it is the 870 Tactical with the dark gray finish and the breachers tool tube...stay away from it. Two guys guns, that I shoot and work with, finishes are PEELING RIGHT OFF. Get one in the regular black finish. NOT THE GRAY!!! Here are pics I took of one of them:

actually i just checked a few and found a mossberg 500 for 299.. ableammo.com i think its a featured buy. when i go to dealer to pick up my new g26 friday i'll ask them what they want to transfer..
