Griptilian uneven edge

I just picked up a brand new benchmade mini griptilian in 154cm. While i love the knife for edc, and it is extremely sharp, i just noticed tonight that it seems the edge is made of uneven grind angles. One side of the edge seems to be slightly steeper than the other side---

Just wondering what y'all think? Something to be worried about? Should i give benchmade a call?

I also just got a new benchmade bone collector 15010 (the fixed blade w gut hook) in D2 and the edge angle is even and consistent. :dunno:

tried to snap a pic of it... kinda came out a little blurry, but you can still see how the right side is a different angle than the left...

Looks like it's chisel ground. Is it a tanto blade by chance?

no, its just the regular modified drop point, plain edge...

That is odd. I would contact Benchmade about it. They should make it right because that is not the right edge on it.
