Question about the Crimson Trace laser

For some reason I can't respond to posts but I can start new ones. I'm in the market for a laser sight for my G19. I held the Crimson trace with the front on/off switch and it felt real nice.

Sort of wondering about having your laser sight off center because instead of adjust only up and down, you not have to also adjust left and right due to distance.

My friend said to make it parallel so that at any distance you aim a half inch to the left of the laser.

Thoughts?

Only 2 ways to zero a laser parallel as your friend suggests or zeroed for a particular range say 15 yards. Yes its easier if your laser is in line with the bore. However tho offset from CTs laser to bore is very small if you run the parallel zero method.
