Guys, THIS IS INTERESTING! And a good heads up as to what to expect from them. It's a blog and a good way to better your training since to know your enemy is half the battle.

Good articles - worth reading.
I can understand why the Taliban & Sadam's forces couldn't shoot well - neither spent on the training and the troops don't have their hart in in.

It would have been nice to have contrasted the Taliban with the Viet Cong where more of our troops were killed.

The At War blog does some cool stuff. I really enjoyed those two articles, and it sounds like there are some more in the pipeline. The reporter that was embedded with the Marines going into Marja seems to have a lot more to say than the Times has space for in their normal editions. I'm looking forward to their upcoming articles to hear more about the Marja operations.
