I was down in Florida shooting USPSA at an outdoor range. Pretty dusty and dirty so when I got home I thought I should clean my mags.

Basically I just took them apart and wiped them down with an old T shirt. No lube or anything else.
Is this right? I would think that if I used a little oil it would just attract more dirt.

After mine have been on the ground I disassemble them and spray the inside with Liquid Wrench dry lubricant followed by a 410 bore cotton swab. Be careful about getting it on the outside of your mags or you'll have a slippery mag.

A mag brush in your range bag works well for cleaning.

If you decide to use any lube, make it a dry lube.
