What do you think of the reliability of the LCP?

I don't shoot mine a lot - just enough to maintain confidence in it - but it has never failed to function perfectly.

I've got about 400 down range Target rounds and 60 rounds of SD . Never had any problems.

No problems and it's a nice "hotter than hell" summer gun.

I've put about 120 rounds through mine and no problems.
Very nice carry gun. I carry mine in my front pocket most of the time and forget it is there. I'm thinking about selling my Super tuck for my g30.

At least 350 through mine, various ammo, never an issue! I generally put a couple rounds of my self defense ammo through it every range trip.

Not one single issue with over 400 rounds of a combination of ball and HP through my LCP.

Shooting Times has an article about the LCR(LCP?), anyway they said during testing they shot 10,000 38+p rounds through individual prototypes with no problems.

O.K., I see the difference between the LCR & LCP. I'll take the LCR.

Mine has has fired

150 rounds of 92 grain S&B FMJ
50 rounds of 90 grain Speer GD JHP
100 rounds of Aguila 90 grain JHP

perfectly. I've fired most of them weak-handed (left), drawing from my left front pants pocket as I would if I were using it as I would in real, not range, life, and emptying the magazine.

I am very impressed with this little pistol. I put in a Wolff recoil spring after the 1st 50 rounds of Speer Gold Dots.

I can use the almost non-existant sights to hit rocks on a berm at 25 yards. I am gong to get another one next gun show.

65 rounds of Sellier and Bellot ball ammo today at the range, 3 FTF. My LCP has a total of 72 rounds thru it. Not real happy about it, but hope it gets better.
But I will say that the LCP "is" a fun gun at the range, I don't find the recall harsh at all. Had a blast with it, semi-accurate out to 10yds or so, really good shooter at 5yds. Got to get used to that trigger though!

What you say RevDerb. I have 300 rounds through mine and shoot it every other month. I usually only shoot 20 rounds at each session at the range. The weapon has not failed me yet.

Mine has been 100% after about 300 rounds

I've shot maybe 150 rounds through mine, not a fun experience, with zero problems.
At my weekly defensive carry / shooting match a guy I know used his.
We both brought LCPs but I chickened out and stuck with my M&P 9MM Pro.
I lent him a few of my mags so he could carry 32 rounds for each stage.
Around the end of the third stage some pins were working their way out of the LCP. He pushed them back in with a Leatherman and said he has seen this before. I think he claimed to have over 2,000 rounds through it.
But amazingly he did 'survive' the match.
