Glock 26 Malfunction...Help!

I got a squib round that jammed in the barrel. I saw it when the rounds wouldn’t feed and I took it apart. I then was unable to remove the slide. I searched the Glock forum and found that I could remove the bullet from the chamber with a wooden dowel and a hammer. I was finally able to get the slide off and got the bullet out without too much problem. When I put it back together, the function check is fine, but the slide doesn’t come off easy at all. I pull the trigger (in a safe direction) pull back on the slide and pull down on the takedowns on both sides. When I put the slide forward it gets hung up after about 1 cm. I have to fight with it to get it forward. It’s getting hung up somewhere, and before it worked just fine. I have to pull the trigger again to get the slide to go any far forward, which I never had to do before. I didn’t see any loose plastic pieces floating around. Here are some pictures. Please compare them to your Glock to see if you see anything that catches your eyes. Thanks.

I'd try posting this in the General Glocking forum, Butch or DannyR will probably know what is wrong. To me however, that Connector(the bar sticking up on the right) looks odd.

From the picture it is hard to tell but are you sure the end of the recoil spring is in the bottom grooved notch in the barrel. With the gun assemblied and unloaded, if you pull & hold the trigger to the rear you should be able to hear the striker rattle. If not turn the gun over and shine a light through the mag opening, pull the slide back slightly and let go then look to see if the trigger bar presses on the drop safety as the striker releases.

From the photos my vote is the recoil spring not seated fully as well.
