View Full Version : Cable adapter for PC?
Have an olde Garmin GPS.
Cable that fits it is unique to it.
End that goes to PC is a serial port connector (female type).
My Laptops have no male ports.
They have female ports.
Is there an adapter I can buy?
<--- has the same Garmin
<--- has the same cable
<--- has one server yet that has a serial port
Downloaded first page of wavepoints!
Thanks for tip on cable.
Mine is a Garmin II. I think I bought it in 1999.
Still works just fine, just isn't very fancy. Fancy enough for me.
Mine is the olde blue ETrek.
I use it on big lakes to track back to the launch ramp and stuff.
Now it has new life.
Ma'am, with all due respect ...
Magellan made it from Spain into the Pacific Ocean without a GPS ... and you need one on a lake? :headscratch: Not one of the Great Lakes? :headscratch:
Had a GPS named after him.
