I have always tried to come up with ways to better simulate the stress of competition in my training. Here is one great idea.
During a recent training session, the A-zone on the headshot area of an IDPA target was surrounded by $20 bills. During the stage, you had to hit the head twice. But, if you shot a $20 bill, you had to replace it from your own pocket. Shot bills were put into a Fail Pail, and at the end of the training session all the money was given to the star performer of the group. It amounted to about $700!
