I know that CCI makes the non-reloadable casing, but are the CCI Blazers reloadable? THey look like they are but I dont wanna collect them if they are not.
Thanks
The brass cased stuff is boxer primed.
I think.

All the 9mm Blazer Brass that you can get at walmart is fine to reload.

Exactly.
I buy aluminum case 10MM Blazer all the time. Not re-loadable.

One of those is small primer and the other is large. Blurry picture, what caliber are those?

They look like 45. I knew winchester started loading 45's with SPP's, but I didn't know CCI did as well.

The only brass cases I've seen with SPP are the N/T (non-toxic), indoor range type ammo.
Blurry pics. L to R, as best I can read them they are Winchester 45acp and Blazer 40S&W. Maybe I'm wrong?
If they are both 45acp, the one on the right is using a small pistol primer and is still reloadable. Use regular 45acp loadings with the SPP and expect approximately 30fps lower velocity.

i have succesfully reloaded the 9mm blazer brass. you are talking about the brass and not the steel cases?

Winchester, Speer, Federal and others are doing 45ACP in SPP. I have a batch of 1000 that I'm going to start using. It will let me stock a single primer size ofr the pistol calibers. A recent article in Shooting Times (IIRC) had Layne Simpson running tests and showing better accuracy with the SPP 45ACP brass.

That's awesome. I would love to get my hands on 1000 SPP 45's. That should last a long time. It'd be nice for the reloading press as well, not having to change over.

Left is .45acp Winchester HP's and Right is .45acp CCI Blazers
Im talking about reloading the Blazers because i got a 1000rds of it and will collect the brass if its reloadable.
the reason i ask Is the primer is smaller on the Blazer then other .45acp ammo i have.
Im getting into reloading and just wanted basic knowledge of the smaller primer in this casing
I had a couple of the SPP cases in my pile of brass. Stopped my loader pretty fast while cranking them out and I tried to seat a LPP in it! I never realized they made it with SPP until then.

Winchester, Speer, Federal and others are doing 45ACP in SPP. .
Why? Why can't they leave well enough alone?
The CCI that is BRASS is actually pretty good brass, I like it. I have quite a bit of it in 9mm.
