(I posted this in the Big Dawg Club, thought I'd put it here as well.)

I'm trying to get a G21 club started. If anyone is interested drop by the Clubhouse forum to let the MOD know. I think we would have to have 50 people to get a spot.

1.) simply stated, why?

2.) what will this accomplish that the "big dogs" club does not?

Personally, I find that all the different clubs and sub forums around here detract from what used to be good information exchange. Now several good topics go largely unanswered when they are regulated to some obscure forum that only a few people check infrequently....

Not to be the little dark rain cloud, but is there any good reason to further divide up the .45 forum....Do we really need a forum for every model of glock?

Respectfully, SDnR ;)

What will the 21 year old GT members do when they turn 22 ?? Will they all be thrown out of the club?? How about a club for us guys over 70..;f ;c

Sounds good to me! I am a big .45 fan and a Glock 21 carrier.

I'd also like to start a G17L,refinished blue with a laser sight club. Anyone else interested?

Because all of the other forums are caliber specific, the current Big Dawgs club is only for the 30 which makes no sense.

actually, any .45 Glock qualifies as a big dawg. I know the description og the forum says ".......ultimate Glock, the G-30." Thats just blah blah blah. If you have any .45 Glock, you're welcome in with the Big Dawgs. There are many 21 specific threads posted all of the time. The 30 just seems to be most people's favorite.

Yeah, but it's not specified so it gets mostly 30 posts. Eric could easily change it and all .45 owners could come together. I emailed him once about it but got no response.

I check the Big Dawgs for G21 specific postings, but I'm not going to sign up to be a member when I don't actually own a 30 ... yet. I think if the wording said for Glock 30s and Glock 21s, then it would work out great, but what about the G36 guys? Would they be included, or would they have to lobby for a Glock 36 club?

Guys: you don't have to have a 30 to join the big dawgs. Just join, and make some posts, and everyone will welcome you. Can anyone else back me up?

It should just be a caliber specific forum, like all of the rest. Why is it any different?

I think that it really is, although I'm not sure. I think that the moderator just needs to update the description of the forum. I think that it is just a poor description.

Administrators are the only ones that are able to change forum titles or descriptions. Seeing as how these topics have been running and no one has changed it, I think it was intended that way.

I agree. It really should be for those who are fans of the .45 Glocks ... They are the Big Dawgs !!!
