What do you recommend for reloading 9mm practice rounds for Glock?

124 grain Rainiers or Montana golds.
Powder.... WSF, Power pistol, Unique
Any small pistol primer you can get you hands on.

I like power pistol for a 9mm powder.

I used up the last of a can of 231 and it just does not give the POW that Power pistol does

I generally load 115 grainers just because they shoot and they are a bit cheaper. My next order will be 124 grain bullets. I want to load some sort of Nato duplacate . If i can safely

maybe i'll buy some new starline brass for that

Best price? 115gr Precision Delta. Powder, I like WSF but just about any powder works for 1150-1200fps loads.

I use Power Pistol, Bullseye, 700X and Berry's bullets.

I use Rainier .356"/130 plated bullets and Titegroup.
HS-6 is great for longer barrels.

+1 A good practice load. I'd select the powder that needs the smallest charge weight to give you the most economical round.

BBI 130gr TC
Powder... honestly so many powders work in 9mm, just try stuff and find what you like. Can't go wrong with N320 though.

Lead.....but then again, you specified a Glock so that brings up other issues.

I use Zero 115grFMJs over several different powders (primarily BE or W231) in my Glocks if I am not using an LW barrel.

Any FMJ that I can get a good price on. Use mostly W231 and tite group I have been using Winchester 124 FMJ bullets over 4.4 of 231 (best group, but slow) Speed is there with 4.9 but the group opened up. What are you using for 231 loads?

These are my favorites:
115gr Berry's RN over 5.4gr of Unique @ 1.140"
124 Ranier RN over 5.1gr of Unique @ 1.140"

Both of these chrono at just under 1100 fps out of my 4" XD9.

State your goals. Exactly what do you want to practice ?

As already mentioned the Precision Delta jacketed bullets are priced well -but they do often require some waiting to get em.

I load 147gr lead (cast by a local guy) and shot out of a LWB for IDPA.

I load 124gr FMJ (Precision Delta) loaded hot to simulate my +P carry ammo -when that's my practice goal.

And I've used the 115gr Precision Deltas for a modest plinker used to intro new shooters to Glocks and handguns in general.

I shoot 124 FMJ with 4.2 of W231. I made some w 4.3 yesterday I have to test yet Across my screens I got 1050 fps with 4.4 and 1135 with 4.9. Using 4.4 I had 7of 10 touching at 15 yds,two hands, standing. Not too shabby for an old man. Back when Winchester made WSL the gun would shot tighter groups, then again the shooter was about 10yrs. younger! Oh, my OAL is 1.162 with the Winchester bullet.

I use 4.6 231 with either berrys or ranier 124 gr. seems to work and pattern fine. sj

I just started reloading and this is the first recipe I have tried, but its giving me good results. I have shot just over 400 of them with good success in my Glock 17.

Berry's 124gn round nose
4.5gn of Universal Clays (not Clays or International Clays)
Federal Primers
OAL: 1.132"
Chrono at ~1080 fps.
