Hey all,
Since the CCI Velocitor is the hardest hitting .22 by census, and is very accurate in my wifes' S&W 43 and super accurate and reliable in my dedicated AA converted Glock, who sells it the cheapest? They are alot more expensive than bulk ammo and we really like to only practice with what we will carry.
Thanks!

If you find ANY place selling them, that is the best place......

NONE around here and the ammo sites are hit/miss.

Good luck

I happen to use CCI mini-mag solids as my preferred .22LR and strongly recommend you give 'em a try if you've not. Good accuracy, power, & penetration. I think in a handgun any difference in energy compared to velocitators will be nominal and the heavier solid bullet will give increased penetration.

jmho, ymmv, g'luck with it!

Bought a brick around 4 months ago. . I think it's one of those things that you have to check on every day.

CCI MM's are just as reliable and accurate in our guns. We can feel a but more punch in the recoil with the Vel's and just a tad more accurate as well (3/4" in MM & 1/2" in Vel-- tested many times). The Vel's also have a tiny hollow point which we think will help with tissue damage, but still penetrate well. I guess if we can find MM's at a decent price, we'll practace with them and just buy a smaller quantity of Vel's for range and service use.
Thanks for the replies, and no, I won't post a pic of my wife's thigh with her S&W 43 with the thigh holsters as some of you requested.

Aguila Interceptors are in stock at Midway and Cabelas for around the same price as Velocitors. I have a few boxes, and while I haven't tested them enough to see if they are better than Velocitors, they are currently in stock. I believe they run a bit faster than the Velocitors too.

FYI Velocitors and Mini Mags clock the same speed out of my handguns. (5" revolver and 4-1/2" Mk II)

I don't remember how much they are but my local Gander Mountain always has tons of them. I haven't tried them out yet.

I still have a few boxes off Velocitors left from when a local WW was clearing out ammo.

I saw a price tag on them that read $1.50. I bought all 23 boxes they had.
