I trust my life daily to a J Frame Smith..
The first gun is my S&W Model 37 Airweight and the second is my Charter Arms Bulldog in 44 special.
Three of my favorites...a Model 36, a Model 40, and a Model 49...all originals.

Thanks. They're on the way back after sending them off to get the s&w silver medallions installed.
Yes, the circle on the M40 stocks are smaller than on a typical j-frame revolver.

In general I do not like stag grips at all. But that snubbie looks so good that I don't notice them (or care)!

That is sweeeeeet! At the moment I'm waiting for my Elk grips from Grashorn for my S&W 638 stainless. Hope it looks half as good as that. :wow:

My most carried are my S&W 342 and 442, both without locks. I do have a (gasp!) 2.5" Taurus 431 that will likely be my default camping companion if it hits to the sights with Black Hills 240 grain SWC's.
