Gun Butter?

I'm new to Glocks, and handguns themselves for that matter. Is there any reason NOT to use Gun Butter for my grease? I watched James Yeager's how-to cleand and lubricate youtube videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGobEpUO3Uc), and he uses Gun Butter. I did note that he is using the Trigger and Locking Lug grease, which Gun Butter's website says is not necessary for use on slides:

"Note: We do not recommend use on slides surfaces, as the performance of Gun Butter alone is optimal."

Any comments/suggestions? Thanks!

I have heard of Gun Butter but not had the opportunity to try it. I also here it is pretty good stuff.
Any gun lube will work on your Glock, no worries.

What is best? The answer will be loaded with opinions..... and you know everybody has one of those!

I'm new here, and I just discovered that new threads in this forum have to be approved by a mod, so I posted it in the General Glocking forum to go ahead and get some info. Mods, lock one of them for redundancy if need be.
