Just had my 245 moly-coated

Looks good. Who did the work and do you mind telling us the cost?

I work in a large machine shop, and one of the mold makers is also gunsmith. We bought the moly resin and he does all the guys guns in the shop for free. Heres a pic of my Kimber he did also.

Well good work. I like the mat finish. I have an old P6 that could use a new finish and a simple finish like that would work well. Did he do the frame too?

In the picture the slide looks a little different than the frame. Is that just an affect from the camera and lighting? It seems like the slide is more of a mat finish than the frame is. I'm being picky btw. I meant what I said, it looks good. If you notice even factory Sigs with alloy frames don't exactly match the slides.

The Kimber was sandblasted before applying the coating, the 245 was not.
