firing pin spring question

I am planning to install a 3.5 lb trigger kit in my G17. I was wondering if a reduced power firing pin spring would help with lightening the trigger pull or will it just cause problems?

It includes the LWD-UTS, 6lb trigger spring, 4lb striker spring. Install the parts one at a time and evaluate the performance. Stop switching parts when you like it.
