Bought my first "used" Glock 23

I currently own a G27 that I purchaced new 6 years ago, but today I just bought my first used Glock 23 second Generation. It was a police trade in with a fair amout of holster wear and it cost me 319.00. I like the deal, but I want to know what to check on this pistol before I take the gun to the range? What parts should I take out and swap for newer parts?
