P380 Lite Primer Strikes

I have been experiencing light primer strikes with my P380 when using standard range ammo. I don't experience this with Cor-Bon or Speer Gold Dot ammo.

Could this be attributed to a firing pin problem?

Has anyone else experienced this?

To date...no, but I've only got 300-400 rounds through my P380.

Follow the guide in the sticky to detail strip the slide. I bet you will find a bunch of junk in the striker channel. I had the same problem with my CW9. The problem went away after the detail strip.

I had similar issues as well. Mine was a bad trigger bar-I would talk to Ian at Kahr and have them fix it.

new pm9, a few light strikes, detail strip, no more light strikes

I certainly hope that is not true. I have detail cleaned my P9 slide twice now with 850 rounds through it.
