S&W 640-1 Quad port questions.

Posted this on another site and didn't get much feedback so I came here.

I've searched the net, trying to find the market value of a friend's revo, without much luck. Usually the auction sites and recent sales can give you an idea of market value but this 640-1 is different and I'm not finding much. It's an all stainless Lew Horton Quadport, manufactured in 1999 and the owner estimates it to have less than 50 rounds through it. The Trijicon front sight has a tritium insert that is all but dead, and there are two long ports on either side of the barrel next to the rib. Original retail price was $850, give or take. serial # LHE00xx

Anyone got any ideas, or where to get an estimate?

i had one of my 640-1 .357 "quad" ported by MagNa-Port not long ago. it cut the feirce recoil of full house .357 loads to what youd get from a airweight J frame with .38+p.

my break down is:

$500.00 for the gun.
$125.00 for the quad porting.
$65.00 for the tritium front sight.
$50.00 to have sight installed.

so that price seems kind of high to me.

Thanks for the response. FYI - The gun brought $700 on gunbroker. Only two bids and I don't know if it was the same bidder but I know the reserve was $700.
