I just bought a Sony Vaio from Sam's, it is the small 10.1 inch screen. I really like the size, but the performance is not what I wanted.

For the life of me, I can't find a place where I can buy some extra RAM. I have tried google and I keep coming up empty. The model number is VPC M111AX/W.

If someone could give a little advise, I would be very thankful.

This is from December 2009 but I think it's very similar.

Netbooks run fairly fast but aren't designed for watching streaming video or watching DVD movies. Also there is a wireless "strength" setting I think that may limit wireless range unless set to max. Some wireless drivers just don't work well and figuring out the updates for them isn't always easy t find the one that works.

Give Crucial's scanner a try ...

You'll need to replace the 1GB stick with a 2GB stick of DDR2 SDRAM - 667 MHz. Crucial will sell it.

newegg.com is a good place to order the ram once you have established what you need. I would say "stick to the name brands" but if you dont know what they are thats kind of hard.
