My vote goes to the full butt as well.

the full buttstock (wood furniture) would be the steadier piece to handle in full auto but straying further i would say the ammo issue would still present the bottom-line problem for the 7.62 variant.

If you are going to travel in and around the country "Folding" is good. :whistling:

Full stock pero in 5.56?

Pahirapan daw ang 7.62.

side folding is available at twin pines....it is good ..and they do reloading of 7.62..just keep the empty shell....

Not for long.. Dumadami na nagkakainteres at bumibili ng AK at kung magpapasok pa sila ng SKS na mas mura nilang ibebenta, mas lalaki ang demand for 7.62x39 na ammo.

I'm more of a full breast guy than a full butt guy.

full length stock na kahoy, the plastic sa folding looks like it won't last long.

Full butt, however it's out of stock sa Twin Pines...they only have the side-folding Type 56-1.

I hope so. Kadalasan kasi dito sa Pinas pag mas madami ang demand gunshops also jack their prices up.

Yup, the rugged and reliable SKS. I don't know why the 7.62x39 is scarce back home. I bought a 1,120 round case of corrosive Czech military 7.62x39 last month on sale for $178.00. Very consistent ammo. And the gun store has cases and cases of them.

The only drawback with the unissued Norinco SKS is that you will have to spend about two hours cleaning the cosmoline from the rifle. The rest is fun.
