View Full Version : Bill Clinton's SUV in accident, hit in rear.
Ok, what went wrong here? Homie is a former POTUS, and his spouse is the current Sec of State.
I can understand USSS was rolling under the radar (lights+siren+ local LE escort absolutely not necessary...) but I'd think that BC would rate at least a 2 car detail.
Your thoughts? (Not you GlocksterPaulie! :tongueout:)

Been to DC a few times and seen a few dignitary motorcades I suspect it was the Pres because there were blocking cars front and rear police cars up the wazoo police bikes, and they were flat out flying through intersections not slowing down one bit, it was fun to watch

Where I'm from it's a 3 car deal, minimum, I call it an asset sandwich.

Didn't he once bump Monica's V from the rear?
Somebody hay have squeezed into the convoy. Was this in the Big Apple? Hard to believe anyone would ever cut anyone off there.:whistling:

It was near Harlenm's area - on the Merritt Parkway in CT (no, not "cop talk")
One thing for sure, if Hillary gets into any future presidential races, her detail will once again be interesting (WH candidate, former 1st lady, DSS protectee and overall evil witch of the east...)

It happened not far from New Haven on his way to speak at Yale.

What? Clinton's vehicle left the scene of an accident? Well. heck, maybe having to stop is just for the little people?

Who knows. The change from sitting to former president's details is drastic. I can't imagine running less than LRV/Package/TRV, but it's more than possible. There are formers who have barely retained a driver, much less a convoy.
I'm impressed that something finally hit Clinton in the rear. It's been the other way around for decades...<g>
