View Full Version : Finally going to try some Buffalo Bore!
I picked up 3 boxes of Buffalo Bore 10mm 180gr GDs at the local 'toy store' today.
Other than having to sell a kidney to afford 60 rounds(kind of kidding!) I am really looking forward to trying some 'full house' fuel in my G29 SF.
I notice BB quotes 1350 fps.
Any of you fellas verified those numbers??

I picked up a few boxes (minus 4 rounds) pretty cheap from someone who thought they were too rough on his Delta Elite. Out of my 29, the ones I've chrono'ed averaged about 1240.
Dave,
Thank you.
1240 is not bad out of a 29 as I only see 1120-1130 out of a 175 Silvertip from my 29s.

I chronoed some BB 180gr GD's out of my DW Razorback (5" 1911) and got 1320-1370fps.... NICE, hot loads. Good stuff.
I hope I'm not too off base but just wanted to chime in. I just received a box of DT 230gr Equalizers. I'm taking out my G29 to see what we've got.

I would imagine those 230gr DT's would penetrate like there was no tomorrow.
Let us know how they shoot?

Naw, I think they are a hoaky gimmick for the susceptible.
You do realize it is a round lead ball AND a 135gr bullet
coming out of the barrel together right? I hate that anyone
spends good money on that junk.
Another analogy would be a shotgun shell with just two
very large buckshot.
But on the other hand, it does help keep DT in business
and no I will not volunteer to be shot buy those things.
