There doesn't seem to be much traffic in the Rimfire Forum Lately?
Thought I start a thread & ask for Pics of your favorite Ruger Rimfires..
It seems that just about every "Gun Guy" has at least one in their bunker..
I've always been partial to the 10/22 & MKIIs..

I also noticed that the Rimfire Forum at GT slowed down quite a bit over the years and I guess that most of you are also taking advantage of the dedicated rimfire forum, RFC.
But diversity is good, so here is my Ruger MkII

Fanner50 I realy likes the looks of the Charger Stock with the Tactical Solutions Barrel..
I bet that little puppy can shoot too!! SWEET!!
I'll probobly make myself one of those up same day..
I'd bet with the Aluminum Barrel it balances well..
Will be looking at some of the ones Paul Zint @ KY Guns has next gunshow..

Maybe I am being a little unfair, considering the only thing 'stock' on that POS, is the stock.... and the barrel. I guess it is more Voltquartsen than Ruger.

Ha!
Sorry, I haven't had a chance to take a new picture with the slide stop on. It works great, though! Thanks!
Thanks about the grips. I really like them, but they are a little bulky if you want to shoot them 2 handed. Bullseye shooting, it really helps, though.
+1 on the tapered barrels. I've had the tapered and the bull barrels, but I seem to like the tapered best.

You know I never thought about shooting with two hands with that style of grips & being I don't shoot Bullseye I'll just stick with my Yummy Feeling Hogues..

Here's a little new and some of the old. The one on the left is a new Ruger MK-III .22/45 and the one on the right is a 1977 Ruger MK-I or Standard as some call them.

Put a 40MM TruGlo red dot on it. It came with a Volquartsen trigger and sear in it as I bought it used. Very sweet trigger. I haven't had a chance to try out the scope.

Nice! I like that you changed out the front fiber-optic sight with a nice target sight. Makes the Hunter about perfect.....with the exception of the mag safety, LCI, etc. ;)

I don't see the Loaded Cylinder Indicator??
Did you plug it?? Do you also have the MKII hammer bushing doing away with the magazine disconector safety? I see a Volquartzen Trigger in there..

Good call. I suspect you're right, that if he's gone to the trouble of the Volquartsen upgrades that he's smart enough for the bushing. I can see a little hint of a stainless piece that's in place of the LCI. Just a guess. :)
PS, thanks again for the bolt release, SIG P229! :)

It's a pice of SS cut to the exact same dimensions of the LCI and it can be used as a filler for those who want to get rid of the original, good for nothing, plastic LCI. There is a guy on RimfireCentral.com who sell them in SS and Blued. They look pretty cool..

Yep!...AMT lower with its original Clark trigger and a MKIII 22/45 upper. Front sight replaced with a fiber-optic.

There's a guy at all the local gunshows who has collected every AMT 22 there is & has them priced so He'll never sell any of them..
He's got some nice looking AMT Ruger Copies..
Congrats!! The one you have looks priceless!!
How were you able to aquire an AMT Lower??
Had to ask or do you have another FrankenRuger?
You Gotta love these 22 autos..
One of these days I might look into a Hi-Standard or Smith Model 41 but the Rugers do everything I need & a much reduced price..

In response to SIG P229.... I aquire the upper barrel/receiver and the AMT lower from two different sellers on GunBroker.com at a fraction of the cost of a Ruger MKIII Target 5.5" Bull Barrel
